		<description>I have extremely curly hair too.  I use Pantene Shampoo and conditioner - in separate bottles, not the 2 in 1 - the &quot;Smooth and Sleek&quot; kind.  I then use Pantene Curl smoothing Moose on wet hair.  My hair drys with very sleek and smooth curls.  They aren&#039;t at all crunchy or frizzy.

Eat a banana about an hour before (and brush your teeth before you play!).  Bananas are reported to contain enzymes which can relax and help calm you.  FYI, the tooth brushing won&#039;t help the relaxation, but it&#039;ll keep your clarinet in better overall shape.

Concentrate only on playing.  Only let your mind think about each note as you&#039;re playing it and what you need to do to go to the next note.

Remember that your band director does not want you to play poorly!  S/he is on your side.  Band directors should not &quot;play favorites&quot; but should evaluate the playing only.  They don&#039;t want you to mess up!</description>
